Cantonese New Year
During Spring Festival, Splendid China Folk Village in Shenzhen comes alive with a grand temple fair. Enjoy lion dances, the heritage Yingge dance, colorful fish-lantern dances, village New Year celebrations, traditional floral hair ornaments, festive food, a Chinese-style carnival night, a Year of the Dragon exhibition, and a 520,000-square-meter lantern festival. Celebrate the new year with traditions and surprises throughout the park.
Heritage Season
From March to June, Splendid China Folk Village presents a season of Chinese-inspired festivities. Meet costumed characters, watch a parade of hundreds in Hanfu and a traditional fashion show, enjoy a Tang court night banquet, explore a folk fair, and join an ethnic spring dance. Step into a vibrant celebration of the culture and poetry of the East.
Summer Carnival
From June 28 to September 1, Splendid China Folk Village presents its 2024 Colorful Summer Carnival, a celebration of water, fire, dance, music, and food. Join water-splashing and torch festivities, enjoy music and dance, and sample summer flavors. The program features five carnival themes, 12 ethnic music festivals, and more than 30 folk music and dance performances each day across 66 days.
Festival Carnival
From December to February, the Splendid Lantern Festival Carnival lights up Shenzhen with a 520,000-square-meter display. Explore seven themed lantern areas, a 2,000-square-meter floating lake installation featuring four mythical creatures, more than ten pop-up performances, costumed characters, food and craft markets, a float parade, and over 100 photo spots. Come for the dazzling lanterns, cultural performances, and delicious food!
Style Fun Festival
From October 1 to November 17, Splendid China Folk Village presents its 2024 Chinese Style Fun Festival. Across 48 nights, discover four fantasy settings bridging past and present, seven immersive themed areas, ten popular guest performers, 20 themed photo spots, 48 nights of crossover music and dining, more than 70 performances, and over 300 interactive characters throughout the park. Find a fresh way to enjoy Chinese culture after 5 p.m. each evening!
