Folk Villages
Thousand-Handed, Thousand-Eyed Guanyin
This form of Guanyin embodies great compassion and is said to have grown a thousand hands and eyes to help all living beings. Cast entirely in bronze, the statue is 22 m tall and weighs 40 tons. Its graceful form and serene expression reflect the art of Chinese religious culture.
Drum Tower
A Dong village traditionally has a drum tower. Built of fir timber joined with mortise-and-tenon construction, it has a pagoda-like form and eaves decorated with landscapes, flowers, dragons, birds, and figures. A drum on the top floor is sounded to call villagers together.
Wind and Rain Bridge
The covered wind and rain bridge is distinctive to the Dong people. Spanning a stream, it gives travelers a place to rest and shelter. Young Dong men and women also gather there to sing to one another, giving it the name 'flower bridge.'

Travel across the lake as though entering a painting.
